No trade, then small win

Looking at the first trade, I should have gotten some great profit.  However, I simply did not execute the trade.  Had I gone with my gut, I would have gotten in and could have easily gotten about 6-8 points (because I was ready to use a trailing stop.

But I second-guessed myself, so I stayed out.  However, the ability to cash out on this trade was HUGE!  Someone could have turned $1000 into $2400 in just two minutes!

My second trade went well, but didn't really net much money.

For the month of November, I made 16 trades.  I won 11 of them and was up 9.5 points total.  I increased my trading account by $1900!  I challenge anyone to find any other way to make $1900 in one month by using $2000.  And I didn't make many trades.  Overall, I'm very pleased with a GREAT November.  I've been talking with a lot of my MMT friends who made MUCH more than me.  I am a very conservative trader.  I stay out of trades that don't particularly line up with my rules.

This week's stats - I made only four trades (I didn't get in to several trades because of minimal movement and my conservative nature).  I won three trades and lost one.   I was up 1.75 points (not a ton, I realize).

Regardless, it's a great way to make some extra cash.  Of course, I don't downplay the costs.  There are costs associated.  It needs to be something that works for you.  If you wonder if it will work for you, why not ask someone who's involved?  ME!  Call, text or email me - or fill out the form on the right.

Have a great weekend.

One for the history books...

I had a no-trade and a losing trade today.  The first simply didn't move enough for me to capture the movement correctly.  So I stayed out.

The second moved more than expected and I got in short pretty early, while the market shot to the moon.

All together I am down 2.0 points today (stop loss).  Today was an educational day, for sure.

No Trades Today :(

The market movement today didn't really do what I wanted it to do.

So no trades for me today.  :(

Two Nice Wins Today!

Please let me know if you have any questions about these trades!  As you can see, I'm up 3.0 points today - trading four contracts ($2000).  I was able to pull $600 out of the market today in a matter of just a few minutes.

Be back tomorrow!

Three Good Wins

Have a GREAT Thanksgiving, everyone!

Win then Loss - Trading Platform Issues

My first trade was based on a very specific MMT strategy that got me into the trade at MY pricepoint and in the direction that I wanted it to go.  No wonder I won it.

My second trade was reaction based and didn't employ a MMT strategy.  I "just wanted to get in" and as a result, lost the trade.  There were some issues with the trading platform (it stalled for over a minute).  And, I actually should not have been trading because it was having a problem.

So I was down 0.5 points today.  Not down much, but would have rather had a winning day.

Win then Loss

The volume on the first trade this morning was so minimal that it hardly moved at all.  I was able to get out several minutes later with just one tic of profit.

The second trade had some significantly positive news.  I got in short too early and lost 2.0 points (stop loss).

Frustrating day trading, but I'll live to trade another day.

Next trade is next Tuesday - November 23rd.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Small Loser Today

There were several trades yesterday, but I didn't get in to trade any of them.  :(

Today, I narrowly missed getting in long at the bottom of the long wick below the opening candle.

As a result of "wanting to get into a trade", I got in short too early and it turned against me for a 1.5 point loser.

Here is the screenshot.

See you back tomorrow, hopefully!

Two Announcements - No Trades for Me

Hello Everybody.

There were two different announcement times today.  I was at my computer ready to trade for the first one, but set up my trade such that I didn't get in to a trade.  I ultimately ended up cancelling my orders and walking away.

The second trade I decided not to trade.  I was not even at my computer.  I actually went on a run instead.

Here are the screenshots of the movement.

Back again tomorrow.

University of Michigan

I'll be totally honest, I really don't like U of M announcements much.  While I've made some good money on some of them, they are relatively unpredictable and don't move like "normal" announcements.

That said, I did not get into a trade today.  Below is the screenshot from the movement.  I was at my computer, ready to trade, but decided against it today.

Go have a great weekend!  See you back here next week.

One other thing...

By the way - any of you that are in Market Mover Trading already, and would like to see a more detailed view of my trades with my set up, entry points, exit points, and the flurry of thoughts that run through my head - I used to post these on my "private" blog - www.myrealmarketmover.blogspot.com.

However, Blogger places restrictions on how many people can view (or be invited to view) a private blog.  As you can imagine, 100 invitations got used up really quickly.  So I am now doing a shared folder on Google Docs (docs.google.com).

Of course, you have to be invited to view them.  I sent out invitations to everyone currently in my "trading organization" already - so look for it.  It comes from my obscure email address - kbouck222@gmail.com (one I NEVER check - so don't email me there).  But look for it.

If you're not in my trading organization - you can still view these files if you email me (kevin@marketmovertrading.net) and request an invitation.  Remember, the email will come from kbouck222@gmail.com (again, don't email me there).  You will need to send me identifying information that lets me know you're in MMT.  I need to know who your sponsor is and when you joined, basically.

My goal is to give EVERYONE in MMT the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and grow from there.  This is an amazing opportunity and I hope you all grasp it and run with it into the bright, shining future.  :)

Happy trading.

Back Blogging Again!

The real pity is that I just got lazy.  I've been trading and winning most, losing some, all the while.  But I was just lazy and not posting my trades.  Sorry everybody!

"While I've been gone..."  Well while I've NOT been posting I have had a real breakthrough - at least in my own opinion.  I have been working hard to be able to more clearly know how and when to effectively use a sniper strategy.  That is one of the MAJOR reasons why MMT is so important.  Without the prediction lines and the forecasted movement (from the MMT announcement calendar), there is NO WAY you can place trades like I did today and win them.

So here is my screenshot from today's trade.  I got in short - immediately when the news came out - and won 1.0 point.

Again, my theory is this - if you can win 1.0 point per day - over the course of five days that would be 50% on your money.  In just one month, you would have won over 200% on your money.  Take your money to ANY bank in the world and ask for a 200% monthly return and they would laugh you out the door.

This program works.  It not only works, it works WELL and I'm going to prove it to you - on this post.

Look for another post on Friday (no trades tomorrow because of the Veteran's Day Holiday).

Have a great day!

Loss SIM, Win LIVE

Last night we did a, check it, 6.5 hour long training in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Chris Pelissie (a Master Trader in my book) opened up and taught basic information, strategies, and literally went from step one to step ten over the course of the night.  I think people were energized, reinvigorated, and very thankful to him for his time and talent.

So... I got home (to Farmington Utah) at about 1:30 am.  I told myself that it probably wouldn't be wise to trade at 6:30, because of the lack of sleep.

Then, as it happens when you have small children, my two-year-old woke up at about 6:00 am and was relentless about staying awake.  My wife, bless her, tried to get her calmed down - which worked for about a minute or two - but to no avail.  I must tell you that when I returned home last night (early this morning) my wife Joy was up bottling pears.  So she was not well rested either.

Regardless to say, I ultimately got up (around 6:15) and went into my office to trade.  But because of my personal rule of not trading if you're not in the "zone" so-to-speak, I decided to make the trade on paper, or simulation - not live.

I also decided to practice another strategy taught by MMT just to hone my skills.  Well, the strategy did not work for this trade, and I lost it (paper, mind you).

I played another calendared MMT trade, only I traded it live.  I won 3.5 points and then made a poor choice and lost 2.0.  So I was up today 1.5 points live.

Have a great day.

Tuesday, September 28th

I'm sorry for not posting this earlier.  I had a trade on Tuesday, September 28th and I just neglected to getting it posted.

As you can see, I got filled short on negative news and quickly made $500 (using just $2000 in the market).  That's a quick 25% return on my money in just seconds.  This was a textbook trade for me.

I didn't have any trades on Wednesday the 29th.

I'll post the Thursday's trades in a separate post.

Cheers. :)

Losing Day For Me

You can click on the images to see them larger.

My first trade was a loser.  My second one, I had a profit target set too high, and ended up just getting one tic overall.

Looking for a better trading week next week.  Have a great weekend.

Loss then win. Up one tic for the day.

This morning's early trade, I got into a trade "backwards".  Just as the news came out, the market jumped up and got me into a long position and then the news came in negative.  It hit my stop loss, and I was out.

My second trade, I got in long and made 2.25 points so I was up for the day.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Housing Starts / Building Permits / FOMC

Today's trades went only moderately, as I finally broke even for the day.  It should be said that I had three winning trades and one losing trade.  But the losing trade was 2.0 points of loss.

The first trade slipped past me, unfortunately, so I jumped in later and only got one tic.

I traded the FOMC announcement too early, and ended up getting a big loss.  Then made it up overall after two more trades.

I will not be trading tomorrow, so we'll see you back here on Thursday.  :)

From Last Week - Thursday & Friday

Sorry I haven't been back here for awhile.  I was away in China for a couple of weeks, and just never got around to posting these trades from last week until now.  Thursday I lost my trades based on a technical issue that I finally figured out AFTER I lost $600.  :(

Friday I had a winning day.

I will post today's trades separately.

Two Trades, Two Wins

Well, this rounds off a decent week for me.  I switched brokers and managed to pull profits at the same time!

Yesterday was my only loss for the week.  My weekly stats are:

I won 7 of 8 trades, and I was up 12.5 points or 125% on the money I was trading.

Here are the two trades from today.

Have a great weekend!

September 2, 2010 - Late Post

I completely spaced posting my two trades from yesterday.  Yesterday was my first day live with Infinity, so I was extremely anxious about it.

My first trade I lost, and it was because I had forgotten to check a little box.  Technical stuff.

I won my second trade, but barely.  I had my profit target set too high and it simply didn't hit it.  It reversed and hit my "advanced" stop loss (which was moved up to secure my entry and guarantee a win).

I will post my Friday trades in a separate post.

Two Trades, up 6.25 points SIM

I closed my account with Global Futures on Friday and they wire transferred the funds to my new broker - Infinity Futures.  But Infinity hasn't received and posted them yet...

So I sim traded today.  However, I'm quite sure I would have gotten the same results from trading live, based on the way I entered both times this morning.

Another GREAT day trading for me.

See you back tomorrow.

One Trade, One Tic

I traded the news announcement today and was able to get one tic of profit.

I guess you could call that a one-tic wonder.  I got one tic, and I wonder how it all moved so fast.

Hope you guys have a great weekend.  Don't freak out if you don't see me post anything tomorrow.  I am headed out to Moran, Wyoming for a weekend getaway with my family and I may not trade tomorrow's announcements.

Have a great weekend!

Up 6.25 Points - That's 62.5% On My Money!

Today there were two announcements that were worth trading.  I watched the market very carefully and was able to jump in at the precise moment to capture a whopping 3.25 points on the first announcement.

Then, later the same morning, I traded again and got another 3.0 points.  I am trading with six contracts ($3000) and my trades were so short, I was in and out in just seconds.

If you have ANY questions about my methods or how you can do the same thing, please don't hesitate to let me know!

And this is why I LOVE Market Mover Trading.

See you again soon.

MMT is giving away iPads to Market Mover Traders

Market Mover Trading loves the beauty and ease of use of iPads, so you know what they're doing?  They're giving away iPads to some lucky MMT traders.  Here's how (and why):

MMT has created a brand new presentation made specifically for the iPad, using Keynote - a presentation program similar to PowerPoint.  This presentation is very attractive and works with you as you present Market Mover trading to potential traders.

Do you want one?  Well, the iPad is a great product and is well worth the money if you were to buy one from the store.  But you don't have to buy one!  Here's the scoop on the August iPad Giveaway:

All you need to do is share MMT with a friend!

For currently enrolled Market Mover Traders, your first personally enrolled Student or Independent Trader in the month of August, you will have one "ticket" put into a drawing for a brand new iPad.  Enroll a second Student or Independent Trader and you will get TWO MORE entries (total of three).  Enroll a third, and you get three more (total of six).  Enroll your fourth personally sponsored Student or Trader in August and get four more entries (ten total).

But... Here's the cool part... Enroll your fifth personally sponsored Student or Independent Trader and you get an iPad with the presentation and other videos already installed.  No drawing necessary.  Anyone who enrolls five Students or IT's in August will recieve a brand new iPad.

So, reach out to those around you and encourage them to get started with MMT, and a brand new iPad may be yours come early September!

Other rules and regulations may apply.  Please contact support@marketmovertrading.com for complete details.  Void where prohibited.

Friday The Thirteenth??? - Hummmm

I made four trades today and lost three of them because of a new "strategy" that I was testing.  Obviously it didn't work so well.  Anyway, have a look at my two screenshots.

Let me know if you have any questions about these trades.

Have a great weekend!  See you back next week.

A Great Day of Trading - Two Trades - Up Almost $1000!

I hope that today, along with the several past weeks proves to you how GREAT MMT style trading can be.  This trade I was in for three seconds!  Total trade time today was 12 seconds (two trades) and I'm up nearly $1000!  The per hour rate for that would be almost $300,000 per hour!!!  ($83.20 per second X 60 seconds X 60 minutes).  Now, when was the last time you made $300,000 per hour?  :)

Have a great day!

Quick Win, then No Trade

This was a nice quick trade.  I was in and out in 9 seconds.

Several Days Trades - Sorry for the delay!

This post is going to contain A LOT of screenshots of my trades from last week.  I was SUPER busy last week.  We had Youth Conference for the youth in our church Thursday - Saturday, and the week seemed to just get away from me.  So, I apologize.  I will also post my trades from today, but in a seperate post.

Thanks for your patience.

Overall I had a GREAT week trading.  I made 9 trades.  I lost 2 trades, won 7.  For the week I was up a net total of 7.75 points.  I have been trading 6 contracts - which is $3000 with my broker.  So overall I gained an additional $2325.00 (before commissions).  Commissions cost me about $250.00, so my gross was right around $2100.00.  Not bad for a few minutes of work each morning.

Anyway, on to the screenshots.
